Size: up to 4.5 cm (carapace) / up to 10 cm leg span

Temperature: 24-27C

Water params: Brackish (SG 1.005). pH: 7.5-8.5, dH: 10-25 degrees.

Difficulty Level: Average

In comparison to Geosesarma crabs this species requires brackish water with certain salinity – it can survive in freshwater, but it could affect its health and life expectancy. Don’t forget – natural habitat of Red Claw Crabs are coastal mangroves.

IMPORTANT INFO: Crabs coloration may vary, some of them can be brighter, some more dull. Young specimens have usually brownish coloration.
