NEKTON has developed a complete feed Crested Gecko Breed & Growth with Fig especially for needs of Crested geckos during breeding and the growth phase, according to the latest scientific findings in order to enable a healthy, varied and balanced diet.
It has a high calcium content with a special calcium-phosphorus ratio. A sufficient supply of the growing animals with calcium and phosphorus is particularly important for the development of a strong skeleton and for female breeding animals to form the eggshell.
In addition, a calcium deficiency is often suspected to be the cause of egg failure. This can primarily occur due to insufficient calcium supply, often combined with an unfavorable calcium-phosphorus ratio.
This product contains chopped insects, which further increases the acceptance of the food. In order to provide the organism with all the essential nutrients, we have compiled it from raw materials of various origins:
High-protein insect meal from the black soldier fly larvae has an optimal amino acid composition and can therefore very well meet the nutritional requirements of the animal.
The amino acid profile is significantly improved by adding dry egg and brewer´s yeast.
By using mealworms NEKTON Crested Gecko Breed & Growth with Fig is geared to the natural diet of geckos. Crested geckos ingest healthy plant substances and important dietary fibers from the added marigold.
Flaxseed and oat bran ensure good digestion thanks to numerous plant nutrients and raw fibers.
Our new product contains, among other things, bee pollen. Bee pollen promotes vitality and well-being of the animal, has a favourable effect on the immune system and blood count.
Also it contains two types of algae. Algae are rich in various nutrients, such as vitamins of the B group, iron, iodine and fiber, which have a positive effect on the animal‘s entire organism and strengthen the natural defenses.

The product also has a balanced calciumphosphorus ratio, which is particularly important for the health of the crown geckos.
