Temperature and humidity are critical factors for the well being of any animal and it is necessary to monitor these two factors. For most of animals it is also very important to create a heat gradient inside the enclosure that means there have to be different temperature zones (cool place to hide, sun spot for basking etc.).
The Lucky Reptile Thermometer Deluxe has two external sensors which allow you to measure at two different places in the enclosure, e.g. you can measure the air temperature and temperature below the spot lamp with the external sensor.
LR44 battery is required for device operations (included to the package).
