Size: 5-5.5 cm

Temperature: 22-28C day / 17-20 night

Humidity: 60-80%, spray regularly

Difficulty Level: Easy

Small, but very cute and bright species, easy to keep.

The best choice for feeding objects are flies, younger stages are feeding on fruit flies very well, but then you can offer them curly wings house flies or green bottle flies. Other feeding insects can be offered as well (roaches/crickets: direct feeding from tweezers only), but it is better to stay on flies if possible.

Males and females of Flower Mantis can be distinguished with segment counting method (males have more segments than females) on later development stages.
