Coastal regions Eastern Africa, Southeastern Asia and Australia.
Size: up to 5 cm (carapace)

Water pH: GH 5 to 30, KH 3 to 30, pH 6.5 to 8 (semi-terrestrial species)
Difficulty Level: Easy
Mangrove crab with pretty social behaviour, so can be kept in pairs or groups – minimum recommended tank length is 80 cm where 50% should be allocated for water part.
As most of other crab species Blue Spider Crab is omnivorous, so it can eat literally anything made from organic (i.e. vegetables, fruits, algae, insects, fish, fish food etc).
Breeding in captivity is very difficult as they have brackish water living larvae with specific feeding limitations.
IMPORTANT INFO: Crabs coloration may vary, some of them can be brighter, some more dull.
