Tityus smithii is very nice looking medium sized scorpion species that is pretty new to captive culture. In comparison to other Tityus species this is probably the least communal species although it still could be kept communally.
Feeding is very easy – scorpions are feeding on almost any insect of appropriate size, including crickets, morio worms, locusts etc.
