Description

Short care sheet for Gray’s Malayan Stick Insect (Lonchodes brevipes):

Origin: Peninsular Malaysia, Singapore, Sumatra

Size: up to 8.5-13.5 cm (males are smaller and more slender)

Temperature: 22-25C

Humidity: 60-80% 

Difficulty Level: Easy

Nice and easy to keep species that feeds on Bramble, Raspberry or Oak. Due to its origin it needs pretty high humidity – vivarium should be sprayed daily.

After reaching maturity females are starting to drop eggs on substrate, they can be incubated in the same conditions as nymphs and adults require.
